About Us

Thames Street Capital, together with affiliates Re3 and Thames Street Development, has focused on the redevelopment of neglected or under-utilized urban spaces. Developed projects to date include residential, retail, and office, and range from single-family residential to large mixed-use projects in the Baltimore and DC markets.

Thames Street is actively seeking development or redevelopment projects that meet the following criteria:

  • Urban or inner-suburban locations (see also Our Philosophy)
  • Historic redevelopment
  • Total project size between $10 million and 50 million
  • Focused on Baltimore / DC metro area but will consider national and international investments on a case-by-case basis

Further, we continue to develop expertise and numerous contacts in Central America -- where we believe the next great real estate boom story will occur -- and are actively seeking and pursuing hospitality or residential investments and developments in Central America.

In addition to direct real estate investments and activities, we are also active investors in both start-up or early-stage ventures in real estate-related sectors. Past investments in related sectors include retail and title insurance.

We take pride in being extremely selective in the projects we choose to undertake. To date, our completed projects yielded a 32 percent IRR for our equity investors, net of all fees.
